HFB is committed to helping protect its customers from fraud. CPS Passport, the bank’s card processing vendor, employs a 24-hour fraud detection team to assist in this process. Should suspicious card activity be detected, cardholders are notified either via text or a call to a cell phone or landline number on file. Response is necessary to ensure that legitimate transactions are able to be processed or that fraudulent activity can be stopped. This correspondence is legitimate; however, if you are ever uncomfortable in this situation, or do not believe it to be legitimate, contact the bank immediately and bank personnel will be able to assist you.
